Sleeping Today

Susan has been sleeping most of the day. Her Mom and Dad flew in today from Phoenix and about the time they arrived at the hospital, Susan woke up and you should have seen the look on her face. She was just excited. So for about a half hour, we sat in the lounge and talked. Susan ate some food and then got sleepy again. Then back to bed for a few more hours. Susan has been on some morphine so this has been taking it out of her with the drowsiness. She rests comfortably and without pain. The kids are handling everything very well but it is hard to see our loved one like this. Saturday was a blessing with the burst of energy that Susan had. The bowling game will always be remembered and the formal dinner at home will be cherished. Here are some pictures from yesterday.
"O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, That we may sing for Joy and be glad all our days." Psalm 91:14

Oh Susan, Ryan and I leave you the warmest Aloha and hope that you, and your family are doing well. Just know that you are always in our thoughts here on our small island of Maui. It is hard being all the way over here when I would love to visit you and your family. I regret not visiting more when we lived in Moscow. You are such a brave and wonderful woman. I look up to you so much. Just know that you have affected so many lives in a positive light.

If all of you have not heard yet Ryan and I are expecting a little one of our own :) The baby should arrive on August 18th. Actually we find out tomorrow, St. Patties Day, if it is a boy or a girl!

Take care, and God Bless you all,
Jessica and Ryan Broyles
...and our baby to come!

Greetings to you all!

What fun pictures!! I'm so glad Susan could get a change of scenery and be there with the family. The bowling and dinner I'm sure were wonderful times and what a great break from the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone. Take care and God bless!

Love, Lisa
