Found a Nanny!

Hello all,
Yes we have a nanny for the first half of the summer. Diane Shaw is Mary, Laura and Kayla's nanny. She came to me and said she would like to do it and to make extra money to go toward their daughter's wedding in the Fall. So it worked out for the both of us. This past week was her first week and it has gone very well. They have gone on hikes at tubs hill and playing games, etc but only after doing their chores. It was an answer to prayer. Also Hannah will be graduating from her nursing school on July 9th and will take over as nanny the following week. Her class will have a big BBQ after her graduation at the City Park. So we are really excited for Hannah. Thanks to all that have been praying for Hannah through her studies. She has done well down the stretch. Currently she is working at a convalescence home, sometime 12 hours a day. A couple of weeks ago Leah, Kayla and I went white water rafting on the Moyie River, North Idaho. Lots of fun and rapids. Here is a picture. Nice weather too. Great time.

Also this past weekend, I traveled over to Helena to see my sister Jane. Sarah and Kayla went along. We did the Governor's Cup road race on Saturday morning. It was cold and it snowed on us during the race. Very unique run given the snow. Sarah and I did the 10K (6.2 mi) run and then walked the 5K event with Jane and Kayla. Always a good time in Helena during this weekend. Made it back safely on Sunday noon.

Prayer/Praises:
1) Leah is back in Oregon ready to start fighting fires again. She is still looking at buying a home in Bend. She may be closing on one this weekend.
2) Nathan is doing his three week reserve duty down in Texas, outside Fort Worth. He is on the Number One Howitzer, and will be shooting live rounds. He gets into this. Pray for his safety. Michelle is doing well at home. Last doctors visit showed the baby is due on Jan 1st.
3) Aaron started his summer job at the restaurant that Jason works. Tomato Street. This is a praise.
4) This weekend, I go camping with Mary, Laura and Kayla. At Farragut they are having Adventure races in the state park. I will be running a half marathon on trails in the remote parts of the park and along the shoreline. This will be new for me and a challenge. Trail running is different than street. Lots of hills. Pray for my safety. I just want to finish.

More later......
