Our Marine is HOME!

Nathan made it back on Sunday night. We all met him at the airport and escorted him back home. His plan right now is to be here for two weeks before he'll head back. We are having sweet family time when we can.
My chest x-ray on Monday showed some return of the fluid to the left lung lining. A procedure is being scheduled for the end of this week to seal off the area that is allowing the fluid to accumulate. This will require a short hospital stay but should show promising results. In the meantime, I am comfortable, sleeping very well at night and having sweet family time. Thank you all for the meals that have been so delicious and for your tender encouraging emails and letters. You all are a blessing to me and the family.
"The Lord gives strength to His people, the Lord blesses His people with Peace." Psalms 29:11

He fills us with the endurance we need. He enables each of us to face whatever difficulties that come into our lives. He will give you a restful heart; not for your glory, but for His.

Mom, You are SO strong. Your amazing strength is a great example to all of us kids. You have been teaching me so much through all of this and I can't tell you enough how much I'm blessed to have you. I'll always remember the wedding and all the work we put into it. I can't wait to see you today. I love you!
Love Hannah

You are so blessed to have such a supporting and loving family. Thanks for keeping us informed whether it be blunt or not. We "CARE" even though my only correspondence has been through Lynn.

Dear Susan, Doug, and all,
Thank you so much for your hospitality during Hannah and Jake's wedding days. I'm so glad that I made the trip to see all of you and to be part of all the wedding celebrations and excitement. May you have a wonderful time, now, with Nathan at home. Talk to you sometime soon, Judy
