Another Tough Week

Susan had her chemo treatment on Monday. It was the second of her three treatments in this cycle. She has been experiencing really bad nausea with frequent bouts of dry heaving. Today she is in bed taking it easy. Pray that the nausea and dry heaves are short lived and that she keeps up on her liquids and food. Also pray about a decision not to have the third treatment next week. We plan on talking to the doctor today about that decision. These treatments have been really hard on Susan. We keep looking to God as our true source of strength and peace.

Hi Aunt Susan, Uncle Doug, and family,
Sorry to hear that it's been a hard few days after the chemo on Monday. How are you feeling today Aunt Susan? I'm glad you all got out to that apple pressing place and had the chance to make all that cider. I love apple cider - it's so nice on a cold day! I hope you're feeling better today. Thinking of you,
Erin

Dear Susan and family,
I have to admit, you are the first people I know who have pressed enough apples to make 50 gallons plus of apple cider. What a unique and fun family outing.(Well, unique to us here in Southern Ca.) Praying for a clear answer from the Lord concerning further chemo treatments. I just praise the Lord for giving you enough strength to enjoy outings and special times with your family.
Love, Jean

We so much remember those apple days and taking our kids to the Spokane Valley apple orchards. Thank goodenss for scrap books and video tapes so we can recollect those wonderful family events!
We are praying that you recover quickly from your nausea and this treatment and that the Lord will lead the Drs. and you in doing just the right thing for your next step!

Susan
I haven't stopped by since Monday because I came down with a cold and don't dare give that to you!.I haven't called because I know with the nausea the phone ringing only makes that so much worse. And so I am here praying for you and hoping to see you soon and knowing that God will give you His specific wisdom with the 3rd round as He continues His healing in you. Rise up oh daughter of our risen Lord- for out of the grave of ourselves He calls us to COME FORTH even as Lazarrus did. And those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty! This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety, He is my God, and I am trusting Him. For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague. He will shield you with His wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are you armor and protection---no evil will conquer you!!!! I love you sweet Susan and your continued journey. xoxoxoxoox Cindy Y.
