This blog is in honor of my wonderful, beautiful, loving wife of 27 years who on April 3rd, 2008, went before us to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Susan's journey through cancer is documented here on this blog and is available for reading in the archive section. The JOY in the journey continues. Susan has left us a legacy of strong FAITH and a challenge to live our lives for JESUS. It is daily and not always easy. “The Lord is our Strength, our Song and our Salvation” Exodus 15:2

Here is Nathan by one of the trucks that they have been driving. He mans a 50 cal machine gun. He thanks you all for your prayers. Susan has had a good week considering all that she has gone through with the chemo on Monday. Yesterday and today have been rough but she has been laying low and has been eating and keeping up on her water intake. She is constantly awed by the fact that through God's provisions and the support through all of you, her only job is to get well. She thinks of other woman that have to continue working and provide for their families while dealing with health issues. We are so grateful.

Hello Susan & Family!
I just got back on to catch up on your news (I was in Minnesota for about a week). Nathan looks good and we will continue to pray for his safe keeping. We are so THRILLED to hear of your good CT report and the tumors being decreased by 50%!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations and hang in there for the rest of the treatments!! Our prayers will definitely continue, if not even harder, to get rid of the other 50%! Keep up the faith and the wonderful attitude that you always possess!!! As usual you all are forever in our prayers, take care.

Hi, Susan, Doug, and all,
It's cold and rainy here today, but it's the kind of weather that makes one feel cozy inside. I hope that you are surrounded by warmth and love during these autumn days - I know you are! All our best wishes for continued strength, day - to - day.
Love, Judy and Patrick
