Nathan is Home

Nathan is home for 11 days. Susan was able to go to the airport and personally greet him along with Michelle and the rest of the family. Here is a picture at the airport. Susan is very tired these days due to the pain meds and chemo drugs. So getting to the airport was a lot for her but nothing could have held her back from seeing Nathan. Keep praying for her appetite to return.

Susan,
I'm so happy you were able to be at the airport to see Nathan, what a blessing. I'm praying for your appetite to return. We pray for you each and every night at the dinner table. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Wood family (Jim, Monica, Summer, Faith, Lily, and Jesse)

Hi Aunt Susan,

I just want you to know that, even though I am quite far away from you, and have not seen you in many years, I am walking with you in my thoughts and prayers. I find strength every day in the Serenity Prayer, and I am praying every day for your appetite to come and your physical pain to ease. I love you.
Love, Erin in Canada

Susan, we missed you at our BSF Workshop, but I am so glad you decided to stay home & rest. Save your energy for your family & if you have any extra, then give me a call! I imagine chemo is taking all you've got to keep going at home, so know we will continue to pray for you at BSF. If you can join us, great! If not, know you are being prayed for.

Dear Susan and Doug: Heard this scripture on the radio this morning on the way to work, and thought of you and Gail.
"CAST ALL YOUR ANXIETY ON HIM FOR HE CARES FOR YOU. Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experience of suffering is required of your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, establish, and strengthen you. To Him be the dominion for ever and ever. Amen." That's 1st Peter Chpt 5. A great reminder that God loves us, He has a plan for us, and He is concerned about anything that concerns us. Nothing escapes His notice.
I never have really cared much for the THE LIVING BIBLE. But I like the way it paraphrases verse 7. "Let Him have all your worries and cares, for HE IS ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT YOU and WATCHING EVERY THING THAT CONCERNS YOU." Isn't that great? We love you and pray for you and your precious family always. Mike, Gail, Katie, David and Ellie Smith

Susan,
I went looking for you at BSF to give you a hug and see if you liked that fun preschool aged art book. One of the gals told me about this awesome site.
Thanks for introducing me to the "techie" world. Never done this before.
Your Nathan is a cutie pie. All of the Vetsch family are good lookin'. Even in your struggles you are beautiful!! Your smile is contagious and the love of our Lord shines through you!I'm so glad the Lord gave you the strength to go to airport. Isn't it exciting to see someone you love walk down the ramp and into your arms? You are an inspiration to all of us. The Lord and His love shines through you. As always you are in my thoughts and prayers. All the gals from BSF miss and love you! SUPER BIG HUGS FROM ALL! Donna Hanley
