Made it back from Portland on Sunday evening after running the Portland Marathon. Nathan, Leah and I ran the 26.2 miles in nice cool Portland weather. It was a great marathon, full of cheering crowds, bands and food afterwards. Nathan did fantastic with a 3hr 40min time, 3hr 55min for me and 3hr 56min for Leah. We had a great weekend together, just hanging out together and checking out Portland. Here is a picture of us three afterwards in the hotel.
We also celebrated Jakes birthday and Hannah passing the Idaho State Nursing board. Had a great time together. Jake gives us a fall birthday to celebrate which we haven't had before. And we are so proud of Hannah passing her board. Her work has been exciting for her. Lots of kids coming in these days getting the flu and wanting help.

Congratulations on your marathon results! It must have been nice to explore Portland a bit - I always hear what a nice place it is. Erin was just there, too, on her great American Greyhound bus trip! Today she is probably on the train, traveling from Santa Barbara to Chicago.
I heard that you will have company from Montana this weekend. I hope you have a great time together.
