Grand Champion!!!
Both Laura and Mary showed today in Fitting and Showing competition. This is where the girls show off their handling ability of their sheep. They did figure 8's, show stances, answered questions about their projects. Laura got a high blue but not high enough to return for the Finals. Mary got a purple ribbon that brought her back to the Finals for the Junior age group. At the Finals, Mary was so good that she got Grand Champion. Here is a video of Mary receiving the Purple Rosette. I was so proud of her. She has really worked hard in her Sheep Project. This also meant that Mary competes against the Intermediate and Senior age Grand Champions for the overall Grand Champion. Mary got beat out by the Senior winner. They both did a great job today!!!!!!

I just got a chance to log in and see what is happening with all of you. Wow! So many wonderful events and news took place recently. Congratulations Hannah, Laura, and Mary. Also, the pictures of the girls and the family are beautiful. I am so happy to hear you have been able to have precious family time. God is so good!
